understand the people in my life. My passion for astrology began in my early teens, I could see

that there are different kinds of personalities and learned over the years what to expect from

people of a particular nature. I have been able to observe people, situations and outside

influences from a detached perspective without forcing my own opinions or judging people

simply because they are unaware of their effect on others.

Growth of consciousness starts with this - understanding how our actions and reactions

affect the people we love, work with, live with and meet. To understand the effects of

our personality, we need to understand our nature and that of the people important to us.

I spent many years studying a variety of books on astrology written by many authors.

As I was learning more and more I was a little confused by the different and opposing

opinions, and also found myself continually lost on a tangent while referring to these books.

You know how it is when you go to a book for information and half an hour later you try

to remember what the original question was ? And why you wanted to know ?

Well, this prompted me to start drawing a circular diagram with key words for quick reference.

This was the beginning of the Sun-Sign Mandala - a nine year long project which started in

my early thirties. I wasn't aware of what the final picture would be or the journey of discovery

I was embarking on. I was content to go wherever my intuition and spirit guides took me

- I wanted truthful and useful information in a visual format which would be easy to read

and get to the point without being side-tracked ! I've always been a bit of an information

junky and continue to find myself picking through opinions to get to the truth. I have the

ability to condense information into a useable format, and twenty years experience with

graphic design - I believe that I was meant to do this, to provide this special Mandala for

people like you who want to know without getting lost or confused in a big book.

I am often asked "how can I find peace within myself" when life is so busy ?

Well there's a few answers to this question, some of them directly correspond to your personal

needs and weaknesses according to astrology. Each sign has a particular area of the body

which could present problems, this is usually a physical manifestation of emotional situations and stress. For each sign there are corresponding methods to improve both

physical and emotional health and balance.

Everyone knows about gemstones right ? Well if your reading this you probably do.

How about trying the particular stones and crystals that actually balance and enhance your

personality and experiences in life ? I have researched, intuitively 'felt' and assigned

four gemstones to each sign of the zodiac - and they do help ! I stock quality tumbled gemstones

There are other useful topics within astrology apart from personality traits and the

natural correspondances such as the Lunar Phases, the Moon in the Signs and the

Moon Void of Course. I have combined all this on a day-to-day basis within

Heavenly Timing - a moon and astrology calendar. Yes, this has been done before

but not in a way that encompassed it all in an easy, 'normal-looking' way for the

southern hemisphere. Over the years I've used other calendars and diaries that gave me
