Moon Void-of-Course Dates & Times
Every two and a half days or so the Moon moves from one zodiac sign to the next, and passes through each of the twelve signs within her 28 day cycle. During the period of time before entering (ingressing) the next sign, if the Moon does not make a major aspect to another planet it is said to be ‘void-of-course’.
This period can range from several minutes to more than a day. According to the ancients, if anything new is started during this time – ‘nothing will come of it’. Delays and confusion can also result. So if you are planning a first date or important function, starting a business or applying for a job, emailing or posting important letters, making an important purchase or placing an advertisement, putting your house on the market etc., it may be best to wait until the Moon is not void-of-course !
During the void-of-course times take some time to meditate, catch up with your backlog of work, spend some time with family or friends, or just have a rest !
